The Official End, Plus JL News

Well, the Minnesota Wild officially closed out the 2008-2009 season Saturday night with a 5-3 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets. They ended the season with their first 3-game winning streak since Mid-November. This, obviously playing a major role in the Wild missing the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The only head coach the Wild has ever know, Jacques Lemaire, broke the news following the game, that he planned to step down as Head Coach of the Minnesota Wild after nine years, eight seasons at the reigns.

I will write more tomorrow, it's been a long day, I need some sleep. We have a LONG offseason to look back at the sucessess and failures of the 2008-2009 season.
